Artist: Jennie Hanrahan
Jennie uses hand building techniques and a potters wheel to produce both functional and sculptural pieces. Her current body of work is influenced by the local landscape, contours, colours and landmarks both ancient and modern. She explores ideas of the lost, the found, the concealed and the revealed. Jennie uses Raku techniques, pit firing and decorative coloured slips for her surface decorations.
